Our Family Health Care Team
J.
David Stokes, Jr. M.D.
has been with the practice since 1987. He is a
graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Medicine, and did his family practice
residency at Barberton Citizens Hospital. He is board certified in Family Practice with
the American Board of Family Practice, and is a member of the American Academy of Family
Practice. He has a special interest in patient health education and staff health
education, and is very interested in doing public health talks on a
variety of subjects. He is a certified infant and
child carseat
inspector. His scope of care also includes house calls, geriatric home
safety and health evaluations, and newborn home visit for first checkup and
safety issues. He is a certified CPR instructor with the American
Heart Association. |

Wanda
Boyd is the family nurse practitioner at Community Health
Care. She is a graduate of the Kent State University Masters Program
in nursing, and is a certified familyt nurse practitioner in the state
of Ohio. She has a special interest in womens' health, health
education, chronic disease management, and preventive health care.
Wanda takes care of patients of all ages. . |

Rodney Ison, M.D.
(left) of our Canal Fulton office
has a limited schedule at Norton Family Practice. He is board certified in family
practice and additionally board certified in geriatrics with the American Board of Family
Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice. As well as taking care of patients, he also serves as President of Community
Health Care, Inc.
